Our founder, Youngwon Lee, draws from his childhood memories in Seoul and his journey into the craft beer industry to create unique brews that bridge tradition with innovation.

From flavors like lemongrass, jasmine, and yuzu to our inventive Kimchi Sour with notes of ginger and Korean gochugaru chili, Dokkaebier is proud to share a new perspective on craft beer. What started as a humble San Francisco pop-up has now blossomed into a full-fledged taproom in Oakland, where we share our passion alongside fellow brewers, including the Black-owned Hella Coastal.
