If you're a craft beer enthusiast or someone looking to explore the world of Korean brews, I would highly suggest try Dokkaebier!
I had the Yuza Blonde, Rice Lager, Kimchi Sour and the Milk Stout. I personally LOVED the Kimchi sour, but there is something here for everyone. The owner has a really great backstory and I am definitely coming back to support this local business!

Whenever I have group events where I have to bring a pack of beer, I always try to bring a pack of dokkaebier :)
Their beer selection-absolutely amazing. As an Asian-American, I never thought I'd see Kimchi and Yuzu flavors for beer. Obviously, the first time we came here, we had to get flights to try all of their flavors.

Dokkaebier it's probably my favorite beer in the Bay Area.
Possibly my favorite brewery in Oakland and one of my favorites in the entire Bay Area. Really unique selection of beers with an emphasis on Asian centric brews

We all need Asian-inspired beers in our lives lol.
Kimchi Sour sounds like it might be weird but it's actually delicious! It's my favorite one.

Dokkaebier should be at the top of your list.
The beer selection is truly one-of-a-kind, with flavors that you won't find anywhere else. I highly recommend trying the Yuzu Blonde--it's light, citrusy, and incredibly refreshing. The Kimchi Sour is another standout, offering a tangy kick that's both surprising and delightful.

Dokkaebier is one of the only Asian-owned and Asian-inspired breweries in the county! If you want to try some truly unique beers, you need to go to Dokkaebier.
I am a big fan of their Bamboo Pilnser and Lemongrass Witbier. One of their most popular beers is the Kimchi Sour, which is one of a kind.

A refreshing perspective in the craft beer scene. Youngwon Lee's Dokkaebier does not disappoint.
My favourite hits from Dokkaebier are the Kimchi Sour, Yuzu Blonde, and the short run of Minari Witbier (my favourite, though sadly no longer in production).

Their concept and recipes are very different from most breweries out there which makes them stand out in my mind.
The beer that is etched into my mind even more is their Kimchi Sour beer. A very unique beer this was brewed by the chef's own kimchi culture and results in a smoky, ginger, spicy and tart sour beer. It was truly a unique beer and I haven't seen anything quite like this with beers, even the most unusual beer recipes I have come across.

Every flavor has a subtlety and unique profile, yet unlike other brew brands, there is absolutely nothing that upsets the flavor balance.
Highly recommend this brand. I have no product endorsement for plugging Jinro or Dokkaebier. I just want people to be happy. Buy their product.
